Every time you do any kind of media, or talk to the media, or any gatekeeper/decision maker about who you are, what you do and what‘s next? … its exactly the same as being on the TODAY Show! So smile for the camera.
And, that’s the good news, and it’s also the bad news. It’s the good news because it you can “tell it to sell it”, people will know who you are and what you’re all about. In this media-driven culture we now find ourselves in, you must have the same media-savvy soundbites and interview tactics that superstars in entertainment and business use to best describe your business, plus a killer pitch that gets them at hello!
…A killer pitch is what’s left standing after you’ve already left the building.
Having a toolbox of targeted pitches is about having the right media tool for the right time; meaning forget about the concept of an “elevator pitch’, that’s just way too last year. Right now it’s about working with the time you and have being able to seamlessly modify your message.
